
Here are our third rankings of the season and the first one since October. Kaapo Kakko remains our clear cut top prospect among Finland-based prospects eligible for the 2019 NHL Draft, however, there has been some movement both at the top and bottom of the rankings since October. The previous rankings can be found here.
Highly intelligent and mobile defenseman Ville Heinola (Lukko) moves up four spots to no. 2. Ässät U20 defenseman Antti Tuomisto (in the photo) also continues to climb up the rankings, moving up seven spots to no. 6. With his puck skills, vision, mobility and physical tools, Tuomisto has the potential to become an excellent three-zone defenseman. He also has a heavy point shot that could do serious damage in the pros. Moreover, TPS center Juuso Pärssinen has been impressive lately. Pärssinen is a smart player with quality stick skills and good speed. He excels at face-offs and can find the back of the net, too.
