Canadian top prospect Carson Lambos joins JYP U20

On Wednesday, JYP U20 announced that 2003 born Canadian defenseman Carson Lambos joins the team on a loan contract until the WHL season begins. Lambos, who scored eight goals and 32 points in 57 games for the Winnipeg Ice last season, is widely considered one of the top defensemen eligible for the 2021 NHL Draft.

In an announcement on Facebook, JYP’s Sports Manager Mikko Viitanen says that JYP was the number one option for Lambos’ agency, when they were looking for a new team for him in Europe.

Here are a couple videos on the 6’1″, 201-pound blueliner, who will wear number nine for JYP U20.
