Forslund centered Blues U18 first line against Jokerit, playing alongside Daniel Mäkiaho and Lasse Wallenius. The trio had offensive zone time and they generated some good offensive opportunities. Forslund was driving the play of this line – the late 2001 was calculated and smart in possession. He has impressive passing skills and quick hands. He stole the puck a couple of times in the offensive zone. Moreover, he won face-offs at a high rate and his skating looked rather strong. He’s fairly quick with some nice agility and decent top speed. In my opinion, Forslund has been one of the top forwards in the U18 league this season and I like his potential in the long term.
