Tuomaala assisted Finland’s lone goal in a 3-1 loss to USA at the U17 Five Nations. The Kärpät U18 forward has strong technical skills. He’s a smooth skater with good edge work, quick hands, and he played an unselfish game with the puck. At times, he displayed the ability to distribute the puck with limited time and space. However, as of now he is not particularly strong on the puck and lacks in strength to win board and corner battles. While it is evident that he will need to add more muscle into his frame, I like Tuomaala’s offensive vision and playmaking abilities.
