REPORT: HPK @ HIFK, SEPTEMBER 13, 2017

Lindgren had a pretty good game for HPK, playing in all situations and logging over 21 minutes of ice-time. The right-handed defenseman made some great passes by using the middle of the ice to move the puck quickly and create offense from the backend. Other positives were his good mobility and lateral agility. On the downside, I thought he that he lacked great top speed and acceleration. This was particularly evident when he attempted to carry the puck up the ice. He played a bit cautiously with the puck at times, not looking overly confident. In addition, I would have liked to see better gap control and more aggressiveness in board battles. He used his stick well a couple of times in his own zone but was stagnant certain times. Lindgren is certainly talented with the puck, but looked raw in some aspects of the game.
