Suhrada played on Pelicans U20 third defensive pairing in a 3-2 loss to Blues. The Czech blueliner managed the puck well and showcased good offensive vision. He was able to process his options quickly and passed the puck into good spots. He has some good agility and a fairly quick first step. Strong straight-ahead speed enabled him to carry the puck up the ice a couple of times. He played quite well under pressure at both ends of the ice. He could have played more aggressively without the puck in the defensive zone, though. Suhrada did not make many eye-popping plays, however, he does have an offensive flair to his game and the ability to move the puck quickly will help him to translate his game to the next level.
