Janhonen was one of the top performers for HIFK U20 in a 6-4 over Tappara U20. The first line center capped off a strong game with a goal late in the third period. He read the game well and went to the net before finishing the play from close range. A skilled and crafty forward, Janhonen has quick hands and can make unpredictable moves with the puck. This makes him tough to contain. He has some nice creativity and he’s quick with good agility and acceleration. He was responsible defensively and committed to play a strong two-way game. Moreover, Janhonen was excellent at the face-off dot, winning 18 of his 27 draws. He has a strong offensive skill set and there’s definitely good potential in his game.
