REPORT: KALPA @ HIFK U18, JANUARY 5, 2019
Hahl played a strong two-way game as KalPa U18 defeated HIFK 3-2. He played on the third line and had some power play time as well. The skilled winger got the secondary assist on the 2-0 goal after creating a turnover below the goal line by using a quick stick. He used his stick well a number of times to disrupt the puck carrier. Offensively, he showed good vision, finding teammates with effective and smart passing in the final third. Even though his skating lacks a bit in fluidity, Hahl does have good speed and a motor that never stops. He constantly kept his feet moving and worked hard without the puck.
REPORT: KALPA @ HIFK U16, SEPTEMBER 9, 2017
Hahl was driving the play on the first line line as KalPa U16 beat HIFK 3-2 in Helsinki for the third win of the regular season. He scored two goals in the first period, displaying deceptive finishing ability in close. He has excellent stickhandling skills and quick hands, plus a shot with a quick, tricky release. He read the developing play well and was proactive in the offensive zone, using his offensive awareness to get open to unleash a shot. A pretty agile skater with good edge work and quick acceleration bursts. While Hahl was active away from the puck, his positioning could use some work in particular. A top offensive player at this level who can be equally dangerous as a passer or shooter.
